Good Hide

” Boss, there a guy eye-ing on you boss. He’s behind the walls listening the conversation. He’s 170cm tall, wearing checkers shirt and Blue khaki pant. Boss, want me to eliminate him? “

” No dont. Keep watching what he going to do over this few days. Tell me if he did anything suspicious. Do you understand?” Said Mr Smith.

” OK, boss. You can count on me.” said the unknown guy.

He keeps watching on Dave. He sit on the bench near the roadside. He observe what he was doing.  He takes notes of the details of Dave every time Dave moves. Then Dave walks quickly moving away from the alley. He saw Dave walk passed him. He followed.

Keeping a distance away from Dave, he moves casually just like a normal people walking down the street. Seeing Dave suddenly stops walking and look around if there’s anyone following. The unknown guy realize that, so he continues to walk casually, walks passed Dave and saw a telephoto booth up ahead. So he stops at the telephone booth and literally pick up the photo. He mimic the inserting of the coin and press the button. At the same time, he moves his eyes, scanning the whole view in front of him. His sunglasses and hat allow him to watch Dave secretly.

He observe Dave that Dave felt a relieve that there is no one watching him, so Dave continues to walk toward the Police Station.

The unknown guy then immediately put down the phone and follow Dave from a distance. He continues to follow until he saw Dave entering the Police Station. He then walks to the Coffee Bean to buy Coffee and get a newspaper pretending to read.

He picks up his mobile phone, press the buttons to call Mr smith.

” Boss, he entering the Police Station. He moves quickly to the Station. I think he reporting about the murdering, Boss. What you want me to do?” He said

” Keep eye-ing on him. I will ask my boys to do the rest.” said Mr Smith.

“Ok, Boss.” The unknown guy said.

The unknown guy press the ‘hang up’ button, and continues watching.

Cool day

It was early in the morning, about 2am. I still at the Marina Barrage, taut till the sun rises. I plan to take some photos but there hardly any subjects that is unique at night. It’s very dark at that time, except the Singapore Flyer. It the only thing that glows up in the night. I took some cool shots. It makes me feel like a pro snapping some photos. Well, I was about to fall asleep at 3am, cause of the cold wind. make me feel like heaven. It was so nice to sleep with this type of wind.

I playing games on my Macbook to keep me awake. Ok, that’s fun. Then suddenly, the watering machine just spraying water at all direction. “OH no My Macbook, ” Quickly, packed the stuff and keep my Macbook in the bag. I was quick enough to keep my stuff dry. I was drenched. Droplets of water flow down my cheek. That’s not cool.

It was 5am in the morning. the sky get brighter. That’s a good thing. I have to look for the spot to shoot some photos. Finally. Its the moment that i have been waiting for. The Sun rises as slow as a snail moves. So i took several shots at different time of the day. It is a cool thing cause i have finish taking photo for the day. I had enough photos to choose from. I was so happy and went home to get some sleep.

Overheard

Released from the police station, Dave went home.Feeling lethargic and hopeless, he walk and slowly. Suddenly, he heard some conversation behind the close walls near the back alley. He curious, so he hide and eavesdrop to hear what is it about.

“This sounds familiar. I heard this voices before. But where is it?” He pondered, he can’t remember.

He look around that wall to see if there have any lose hole. “YES!”  he said. He found it. He peek through the hole. He dont believe what he saw, gang engaging in a tight conversation with his EX-CLIENT!

“OMG! He is my client, working for my ex-company. What the hell he doing here? Is he the leader of the gang?…”

Lots of question popping up in his mind. He getting curious, so keep watching them.

” Boss, we kill him. We slice his arms and body, and put the body behind the alley. “

” Good, here is your pay and bonus, for kill it quick.”

” Thanks boss, anything contact us. We make it quick. But we want extra extra tips.”

” Ok, let’s go before anyone saw us.”

Dave witnessed and overheard the whole conversation. He now know whats happening. So he went back and make a report.

At the police station, he report  the whole incident including the whole conversation he heard. The police recorded the whole thing. And keep the whole evidence for investigation.

Dave feel happy, and he gain back his self-esteem.

“Finally, i can went home with something good.” He said.

Unlucky day

Dave walking down the alley, sniffing and searching the strong smell that came from that path. He stop and stare at the large and round bag and says,” WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!”  The stench get worse as he approach the bag. He drop his stuff and open his bag with his bare hands.

When he open it, he saw a dead body that have stabbed mark and slashes everywhere with a strong stench, stucked on his nose, probably it had been there for 5 days. “Freeze! Do not move or We fire at will, ” a deep, hollow but fierce voice heard for far. They have been watching him for the pass 3hrs. ” Sir, we have to take you to custody. Corporal, arrest him.” Said the inspector.

” Yes Sir!” replied the Corporal.

Dave was stunned. He was confused what had happened to him for the past few days. “Oh my goodness, today was a bad day. Firstly, I wake up late for work and meeting. Secondly, I get fired for screwing the grand project causing a huge lost to my ex-company. Now, i get arrested for some stupid thing I did. WHAT NEXT! ARGH, Screw this!” He said as he vent his frustration and anger on himself.

At the police station, he kick the chair and retaliate that he is not wrong. Showing his tantrum, causing difficulty to the officer holding on to him. ” Mr Dave suay, why you were at the alley for the pass 3hrs?” The inspector interrogate him.

” I get fired this morning for coming to the office and late for the important meeting I had causing a huge lost to the company.

That’s why I stay there think back what i have done wrong.” he replied lazily, as if he going to die any moment.

” Are you sure!?

Dave was pissed and refused to reply.

“Very well, Why did you hold to the bag?”

“I was curious as the stench is too strong, so i go and find out. ” He replied.

“Ok, Mr Dave suay, thank you for the information. But i have to hold you cause of some reason.”

“WHAT! I didn’t do anything wrong. Why you want to hold me?” He retaliated.

“Oh, damn what a stupid day I had. Screw this!

Gap between the lift

Wake up in the morning, Dave bounce off from his bed, wearing his smart suits. He grab his key and dash out of the house. “Oh, shit! NO! my car key.” He accidentally drop his key in between the gap of the lift. “DAMN!” he said. Dave already late for his meeting. He had no choice but have to take a cab. He flag the cab and go to his office. Along the way, he was stuck in the traffic jam. “Oh, sharks, not again. My boss is going to kill me.”

Dave pay and say to the taxi drive, “keep the change uncle.” He open the rear door, and dash straight to the lift lobby. He press the 9th button.  Preparing his proposal to show his boss and client, his body is filled with perspiration, making him so smelly. Everyone in the lift squeeze but stand away from the center, making him dominating the whole space.

“Ding Dong!” the lift door opened. He dash out and fall on his back. “Argh!” as he swing his arms, allowing some air to enter the file, causing the pages to fly out and scattered all over him. The floor is slippery but, his odour have gone, due to the sweet smelling detergent use by the cleaner to mob the floor. “DAMN!” He says as he look at some of the pages soaked with water and had a nice smell too. He cluster all the pages together, and move straight to the meeting room.

“Knock knock.” Dave enter the meeting room. “I’m sorry Sir, I was stuck in the traffic jam, and my car key drop in between the gap of the lift, so I have to take a cab here.” He says, as he panting and trying to catch his breathe.  “What’s that smell?” His client ask.

“Oh, that’s the new formula of the perfume I use. Its very strong but, can cause hallucination around me.” Dave replied as he try to smile at both his client and his boss.

Arranging the pages into the file, he realize some of the pages are missing. “Shit!” He try to recall where he place those pages. “OH, sharks! Argh, F***! He shouted across the meeting room.

“What did you say?” His boss said.

“Oh, nothing, I need to go to the toilet, stomachache. Be back in 5 minutes.

Dave dash out of the meeting room, and go towards the lift lobby. He searched the entire place, including the gap in between the lift. He found it but is in between the gap. The pages was stuck at the 8th floor. “How am I going to answer for this? The pages i looking for is in between the gap. Argh!

Later, his boss approach him. ” Dave, I’m firing you. You have just make the company lost a major project. No words from you. So pack and leave the office RIGHT NOW!”

“Argh! Damn! He said. “It all about my clumsiness and the gap in between the lift. It all about the gap in between the lift. Argh, Screw this!” As he pack his stuff and leave.
